The principle
The bike's identity can be public so it's recoverable; your personal contact details stay private and are never shown.
What's public
A bike's profile shows what helps recover it: make, model, colour, frame number, and its registered/verified status. That's the information a finder or buyer needs — and none of it identifies you personally.
What's private
Your name, email and phone number are never shown on a public page. When someone scans your tag or reports finding your bike, the message is routed through our system — they can reach you, but they never see your details.
Your controls
You decide what's on your profile, you can update or remove details at any time, and you can delete your account and its data whenever you choose. It's your record to control.
In short: enough is public to get your bike back; nothing personal is exposed to do it.
